G&R Cedar is very proud to offer products manufactured directly at its mills in Matsqui, British Columbia and Chilliwack, BC Canada. We use only the finest "old growth" cedar available, and this comes in two distinct types…. Western Red, and Alaskan Yellow (Western Cypress).

There are different types and styles to choose from, in both Western Red, and Alaskan Yellow Cedar, including Tapersawn, Resawn and Shingles.

Over the last six decades Watkins has grown from a modest beginning to one of the largest manufacturers of Western Red Cedar Roofing in North America. Our approach to business has been to grow the cedar roofing industry through product innovation and improvements in manufacturing.
